Apple MacBook Air 11″ Liquid Damage
A student client working on their assignment late night had accidentally spilled an entire cup of hot tea on the MacBook Air. Upon panicking trying all remedies the laptop refuses to work.
Data was most valuable to the client. After physical inspection, a 2013 model revealed significant damages on the logic board and some residue on the SSD storage as well. It was beyond economic value to repair the unit.
Using specialised tools we manage to extract all the user data from the SSD drive and safely transfer it to a new external hard drive.
We were also able to give the client options such as a reconditioned MacBook Air, restore data to a new MacBook or save it to cloud for them.
In a next business day service, client was able to get back to their studies and keep thousands of their photos.
